Is MER Spirit mad at Earth?

I don't think NASA expected Spirit to be the strong silent type, or cop an attitude described as the silent treatment, but what happened?
Spirit has stop transmitting the secrets of Mar's. Sure it will give a beep or two to acknowledge it hears it's commands, but it has decided not to share it's information with US anymore. It lasted only a couple weeks longer than Europes 'Beagle'. The 'Beagle' didn't even give a whimper when he landed. He just stuck his head in the sand and didn't come up.

We do know now thought that Mar's is warmer than Cleveland during January.
